Our rehearsals (largely following school term times) are Monday evenings in the main hall at Cotham School, Cotham Lawn Rd, Cotham, Bristol BS6 6DT.
Most rehearsals are 7pm (for 7:15pm start) - 9:15pm, other than the two or three rehearsals before a concert which are 7pm-9:30pm.
NB: Neither Cotham School nor St Monica's are inside Bristol Council's CAZ "Clean Air Zone" (see map here), but it may affect drivers of older cars coming through the centre of Bristol to get here. Please see info here: https://www.bristol.gov.uk/streets-travel/bristol-caz

Rehearsal Setting up: 1.30pm Please can we have plenty of help to sort out chairs stands etc. and bring all the percussion instruments into the hall. Sat down and ready to play at 2.00pm; we will be finished by 5.00pm ish and there will be a break. 2.00-Beethoven, 3.00-Mozart Overture, 3.25-break, 3.40-Mozart Symphony, 4.20-Haydn, 4.50-finish If you don't want to go home after the rehearsal, you can use the mezzanine/atrium to eat a packed tea. If you do go home, please be back at St Monica's, in the mezzanine area (opposite the chapel)/atrium for 7pm. We will have use of the mezzanine/atrium for instrument cases coats etc. |
