There is car parking available in a couple of small car parks and on the access roads once you have turned into the complex.
Setting up: 1.30pm
Please can we have plenty of help to sort out chairs stands etc. and bring all the percussion instruments into the hall. BGSOS will be rehearsing from 2.10 in the Atrium.
Sat down and ready to play at 2pm; we will be finished by 5pm and there will be a break.
If you intend to stay until the concert, don't forget a packed tea.
If you have a black or silver stand, that would be preferred. If you have a spare black or silver stand, please could you bring it along to lend anyone without.
The lighting at St Monica's not brilliant , so if you have them, bring music stand lights.
Concert Dress (see Concert Etiquette article):
Ladies: Floor length black dress/skirt/trousers, black top, black tights/shoes.
Gents: Black DJ and tie, black shoes/socks, white shirt.
Please don't sit down more than 5 minutes before unless you have specific things to sort out....it avoids embarrassing silences!
There will be refreshments at the interval provided by the excellent Roger and his helpers.
Please return all music straight after the concert.
